When thinking of stone, color may not be the first thing that comes to mind. To us it is an elemental part of our work: we have discovered how to bring out the inherent subtleties of color in limestone, to enhance them and create a rich earthy and neutral palette, which seamlessly fits into most color schemes. While fine tuning our earthy color scale we also developed methods to fuse stone and pigment by binding them with a formula of polymerized bees wax, linseed oil and cutting edge stone sealers. The resulting colors are vibrant, complex. and beautiful, from deep indigo and mineral blues, to pale rust, creamy yellows, copper green, browns of chestnut and spice, to rich, gently luminous pastels. This opens up fresh possibilities for architects and designers who are looking for novel ways to embolden their designs.
